Desert Creative Group launches RTK Premium from Premium Positioning across the U.S. and Canada

Multi-Network RTK Corrections With Automatic Failover, Device Flexibility, And a Free 14-Day Trial

Surveyors, drone operators and GIS teams can start a 14-day free trial on the receiver they already own, with smart failover when a network drops

TWIN FALLS, IDAHO, October 20, 2026 – Desert Creative Group today launched RTK Premium, the multi-network RTK correction service from Premium Positioning, for customers across the United States and Canada. RTK Premium delivers centimeter-level corrections, typically 1 to 2 cm horizontal in real time, from multiple independent networks, with smart failover when a network drops.

A crew that depends on one correction network stops working when that network drops, even when the receivers, the people, and the site are ready. RTK Premium is not tied to one network: where networks overlap, smart failover has another independent network to move to.

RTK Premium draws on 7,500 base stations across 35+ countries, with 99.98% uptime over the last 12 months. It commits to 99.9% availability each month, with a cash refund if it falls short, in areas served by redundant networks. Corrections arrive over NTRIP in RTCM 3, so RTK receivers that support NTRIP connect without new hardware.

“Field work shouldn’t have to stop when a corrections network drops in the middle of a project,” said Janeale Dean, President of Desert Creative Group. “RTK Premium gives them more than one network to fall back on under one low subscription price. This service can make a big impact throughout the U.S. and Canada because it is brand agnostic, and you can move your subscription from device to device in the field. With a 14-day free trial, any crew can test out RTK Premium on the receivers they already own.”

“Crews worry less about what corrections cost than about losing the day when a network drops on site,” said Loren Schmidt, Chief Revenue Officer, Premium Positioning. “Desert Creative Group knows the receivers and the crews in this market, and its customers can now buy multi-network corrections from the dealer that already supports their equipment.”

Customers can start a 14-day free trial on one receiver, request a quote, or buy an annual or monthly subscription directly online at https://geospatial.desertcreativegroup.com/product/rtk-premium/. Before switching, buyers can compare RTK Premium with their current service on RTKTEST.com, the open benchmark Premium Positioning runs, which streams up to three correction services to the same reference receiver at a surveyed point and scores each one against the known coordinates.

Coverage can be checked by town or coordinates on https://geospatial.desertcreativegroup.com/product/rtk-premium/ or on the live map at coverage.premium-positioning.com. Desert Creative Group sells and supports RTK Premium from Twin Falls, Idaho, and through its dealer network across the United States and Canada.
